In its privileged position on the stunning, unspoiled coastline of south-west Turkey, Apollonium offers its guests a beautiful, beachfront base from which to explore the sparkling scenery, sun-drenched beaches, fascinating historical sites and amazing natural wonders of the region.
The local area offers spectacular sunsets over Bozbuk Bay, relaxing nature walks in the vicinity of the resort, and nearby highlights including Akbuk with its tree-lined promenade which is lit at night, and Altinkum with a choice of three safe, sandy beaches, plus shops and a vibrant nightlife. Just a short distance further are the equally popular seaside towns of Kusadasi and Bodrum, and the market town of Söke with a bazaar which still competes comfortably with the modern-day mall.
Rich in history, the region’s most spectacular site is undoubtedly Ephesus, Asia Minor’s best-preserved ancient city and an attraction for visitors the world over. In great company however, it is just one of the important archaelogical sites in the area, with the Didyma ruins (including the Temple of Apollo), the 15,000-seat theatre at Miletus, and Priene, which was once home to Alexander the Great, amongst the others.

*Directions to the resort:
From Bodrum/ Milas airport
Turn left when leaving Bodrum/ Milas airport. At the first big traffic lights in Milas follow the signs left to Soke/Izmir. Going through Selimiye, Bafa and passing Bafa (Gol) Lake. Take the first left for Akbük. Follow the signs for Akbük & ignore signs to Didim. Continue and carry on straight through Akbük . You will see the signs for “Apollonium Spa & Beach Resort” along the way. You will drive along the coast road out of Akbük for approx 10kms (Sea on right). You will pass Royal Blue development and White beach village. The Apollonium resort is on the right hand side by the sea.
Note:- There is a short cut mountain route but would not advise to take in hours of darkness.
From Izmir Airport follow signs for Aydin
Take right turn to Soke / Bodrum. Follow signs after Soke for Milas / Bodrum. You will need 20 Turkish Lira to purchase a card for the toll road. Cost is sufficient for return also. Continue past Didim exit and over the brow of the hill turn right for Akbuk passing Caprice Thermal Palace Hotel.
